Kimberly G asked: My daughter was diagnosed with alpha-1 because of a fatty liver a couple years ago. She is about to turn 5 y/o. I can’t find anyone else in my town with a child with it since it’s usually diagnosed at age 30’s or 40’s because of the lung complications. BTW she also has cystic fibrosis. Anyone else with little children with Alpha-1?

Shelly asked: I have Cystic Fibrosis, I have a twin sister (a fraternal twin) who doesn’t have the disease, but she currently has bronchitis and has a flu. I’m afraid I’m going to get sick from her. I have gotten infections too many times on my own because of my disease and was recently in the hospital and I don’t want to get sick again soon, my lungs are very weak. What can I do to keep from getting sick from her? We’re teenagers, and of course we live in the same house, we even share the same room.

babyluvbutton239 asked: I was reading on Wikipedia that France has the best health care system and that it is almost entirely free for people affected by chronic diseases such as cancers, AIDS or Cystic Fibrosis.
If this is true in France, why does this seem to be an impossibility in America?
